Today I am going to share with you my favourite products in my makeup collection! You may have seen some of these products before in my previous posts but I have many others that I have not wrote about yet.
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
This powder is ultimately the best powder I have ever used. I prefer this so much over the typical foundation powder as I feel like it sets my makeup better and enables my base to look flawless throughout the day. As you all know, I have an oily t-zone but the rest of my skin is slightly dry, this powder keeps my oils at bay but does not cling to any dryer patches of my skin. If I feel that I have put too much powder on I just spritz my face with some setting spray and the powder just sinks ever so beautifully into my skin.
Benefit 3D Brow Tones
I love using this product after drawing on my eyebrows as it makes my eyebrows look more ‘natural’. When I use pomade or an eyebrow pencil I feel that sometimes my eyebrow hairs get lost and my eyebrows look too fake, so I just apply a hell of a lot of this product and it really makes my hairs stand out and become more visible. I have the shade 4 and I feel this would work well for anyone who has warm brunette roots or hair.
Morphe 35O Palette
Of course you all knew that I was going to mention the holy grail palette. I love warm eyeshadows and this is exactly what the 35O brings to the table. The shadows blend so seamlessly and look so amazing and their palettes are so cheap for the quality and the amount of pans in the palette!
Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette
This is an absolute staple in my collection. I love every single shade in the palette and I also use every single shade. This is so great to travel with as the packaging is slim and the palette contains three contour shades and three under the eye banana type powders. I usually reach for the first two shades as I a quite fair and the last shades would not suit my skin tone for contouring however, I do still use the last contour and brightening shades for my eyes. The last brightening powder is great to use in the crease as a transition colour and the contour shade is great for contouring the eye and blending int the crease (if you’re fair like me!).
Better Than Sex Mascara
This is such a great mascara and is totally worth the money. It makes my lashes look so full and thick and the shade is a really dark black – which I love in a mascara. I feel like some mascaras only help my lashes stand if I sit really close to the mirror, but if I move any further away I can’t really see them anymore, but I don’t seem to have this problem with this mascara as it makes my lashes stand out and also makes them look great in photos! Also, I bought my mascara in Dubai so it is called ‘better than love’ which I think is so cute. Please ignore the fact one of them has a battered roller lash lid on, I snapped my wand accidentally and had to improvise.
Doll Lashes – EVA
These lashes are by far my favourite lashes that I have ever tried. They’re so fluffy but yet so bold and make my eye makeup look stunning. I have recently had a few messages asking what eyelashes I use and these are the ones. You can buy them fro Topshop or through Pretty Little Thing, I’m not too sure if they have their own website but I do know that they have their own Instagram – @__Dollbeauty_.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed and I hope to see you soon!
