Welcome to the second day of my 12 Days of Christmas series where I will be posting Christmas themed posts every day for the 12 days of Christmas!
Today I am going to talk about all of the holiday makeup collections that have been released for Christmas that I think look amazing.
Morphe Christmas Collection 2017
AHHH I love Morphe so much and I just think every single product that they create is amazing and I’ve never used a product that I thought wasn’t worth the money or was bad quality SO when the holiday collection dropped I lost my sh*t.
I’m so glad that they have FINALLY came out with palettes that have mirrors – thank the lord. They have came out with two mirrored palettes that contain 15 shades, one large palette that contains 39 shades, three makeup brush sets, two eye/lip pencil sets, two liquid lipstick sets, five metallic lips, metallic cream eyeshadows and two eye sets.
I absolutely love all of the products, especially the larger palette as it includes 7 larger pans that are designed specifically to use as transition shades – yes I said 7 transition shades! I think this is so great as not many palettes contain many transition shades meaning you have to dip into more than one palette to do your eyeshadow which is actually really annoying to be honest. Above the transition shades are 16 warm and wearable shades and below are 16 more ‘out there’ and more colourful shades meaning this palette suits everyone’s style which I love!
Mac Snowball Collection 2017
This has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing Christmas collections I have ever seen. It’s like Christmas meets glam – everything is so sparkly and just looking at the collection online makes me so excited. There are so many pieces in this collection so I’m only going to talk about my favourites, but you can check out the rest here.
The lipsticks. Wow. the lipsticks are beautiful. The packaging to me literally looks like a bauble from a Christmas tree. They have brought out six shades, four are frost finish, one is an amplified finish and the last is a matte finish. The colours to me are also so Christmassy ranging from reds to perfect nudes.
I also love their individual eyeshadows that they have brought out. They have snowflakes engraved into them and they look so wintery and just looking at them is getting me into the Christmas mood.
Tarte Cosmetics Holiday Collection
I’ve never tried any makeup from Tarte as I live in the UK and have no idea if it is sold over here (if anyone knows anywhere please comment to help a girl out) but their holiday collection looks so amazing.
First of all, can we talk about their Magic Star Collector’s Set… I mean come on it looks amazing. It retails at only $49 (which is around £36.37) and you get a whopping 25 eyeshadow palette, two blush, a matte bronzer, highlighter, mascara, eyeliner, a matte and a glossy lop colour!
The eyeshadow palette looks amaaaazing. You could create so many different looks with this whether its cool, warm, natural or smokey!
I also love the look of their two new palettes – the toasted and the flirt. The colours in each palette look pretty similar but I just love warm colours and these palettes are just so me.
Their brush sets and blush sets look stunning. Although they are pretty expensive I have heard really good reviews on Tarte’s brushes and blushes and they are both so aesthetically pleasing.
I hope you enjoyed today’s 12 Days of Christmas post, I hope to see you again tomorrow!
