Today I am going to review the ever so popular Hoola Quickie Contour Stick. I know this product isn’t so new but I recently bought it over summer in duty free and haven’t really been testing it until recently.
I love the colour of this contour stick, I feel it would suit so many different skin tones and undertones. I love applying this product around the perimeter of my forehead, in the hollows of my cheeks, on the apples of my cheeks (as I don’t really like blush) and even down the sides of my nose.
This product works well as a bronzer and as a contour as it is just the right mix of cool and warm. I would say that the finish of this stick is quite natural and really mimics the look of a real and all natural tan. I hate when bronzers or contour products are way too orange and don’t look natural on the skin (well, as natural as a full face of makeup can be!) but this product is so amazing.
P.s. don’t judge the state of the top of my product, the top broke off in my suitcase on a plane :((
The only one problem I have with this product is that I find it really hard to blend! I usually use my beauty blender to blend out cream products but I had a really hard time blending this out with my sponge. However, I did revert to using a brush and this made it so much easier. I’m a bit confused to why my product was hard to blend with a beauty blender as I have watched many reviews of this product on YouTube and it seems so easy to blend out. Leave a comment down below if you have used this product before and could give me any tips on how to use this correctly as maybe I’m not blending it correctly.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed and hope to see you back in my next post!
