My Christmas Beauty List

Hey guys,

I wanted to share my beauty Christmas list as the festive season is quickly creeping up on us and I am SO EXCITED. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year – there are festive lights everywhere, Christmas markets, you spend time with your family and not to mention the food.

I would also like to state that I do not own any of the pictures in this post as I do not own the products and therefore cannot take a picture of them, all sources will be referenced.

Number one on my list is an item that has been hyped up a lot on social media in the past few months – the Farsali Unicorn or Rose Gold Elixir (£50). I purely want this just because I want to be able to pour actual gold or purple oil all over my face and pretend I’m an Instagram baddie beauty guru…but also because elixirs seem to really hydrate the face and leave your skin looking beautifully dewy. Although this item is very pricey (which is why it is on my Christmas list so someone else has to buy me it hehe) it seems to work wonders on the skin.

The second item on my Christmas list is the Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes eyeshadow pallet (£35). Can we just take a minute to take in the adorable packaging and those stunning shades. Too Faced always kill it in the packaging department and each and every product they make is so uniquein terms of packaging and I just love the brands aesthetic. I personally feel like these shades are so unique and I feel as if I do not own any eyeshadow shades that are anywhere near to these and I just absolutely love the colour range in the shadows. I was quite disappointed when they dropped their Sweet Peach pallet earlier in the year as not many of the shades were actually peach, although I have now found that all the shades in the pallet represent a part of a peach e.g. green for leaves, but I am amazed by this new peach collection. You could do so many different looks with this shadow ranging from day-time natural looks to full blown smokey eyes for the night-time. The only downside to this product is that I’m not sure that their Peaches and Cream range are available in the UK yet… *cries*.

The third item on my list is the new Morphe 3502 pallet (£23). WOW. All I can say at the moment is wow. Morphe’s pallets are so cheap but yet so highly pigmented and the quality of their shadows are amazing. This new pallet is (in my opinion) such a better revamp of the original 350 pallet. I felt that in the original 350 all of the colours were too similar and there weren’t many warm shades that I actually liked or enjoyed. However, in this new pallet every shade is different to the next, ranging from light transition colours to shimmery colours and even to a black! Having a black colour in a pallet is so useful and I believe that black eyeshadow should be a staple shade in everyone’s makeup collection.  These shades just scream fall/autumn to me and I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on it.

Another product on my list is a bronzer that I feel has been hyped up for a very very long time and I know I’m so late jumping on the bandwagon at this time, but I really do want this product. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer (24.49 – Amazon) is a product that I have wanted for such a long time but I never have even attempted to buy it. This bronzer looks so natural and I believe it would look great on fair skin tones, like myself. I dont normally like bronzers that contain a light shimmer in it but this product looks absolutely stunning on the cheeks. The only downside to this is the only place to purchase this product is Amazon where the price is nearly double.

The final product on my wish list is also another hyped up product – Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (£26). I am so like every other person in 2017 – if Rihanna creates any makeup or fashion, I NEEEED it – “Everything is ugly until Rihanna wears it“.  To be fair, this foundation looks incredible from all of the reviews on YouTube that I have watched and seems to be so pigmented but yet so lightweight on the skin. I also think that it is amazing that Rihanna took the time to create many many many shades for each and every skin tone, even creating pink, yellow, neutral etc. shades so that each and every person could find their perfect match. This foundation claims to “easily build to medium to full coverage, is resistant to sweat and humidity, and won’t clog pores. Best of all, this longwearing, light-as-air texture is undetectable on skin” well I don’t know about you, but that sounds amazing and I need it in my life right now.
