The Body Shop Products That I CAN’T Live Without

Hey guys,

Todays blog post is centred around all of The Bodyshop products that I love and adore and use religiously. I think skin care is very important for everyone, no matter how young or old you are. Moisturising your skin can improve your skin tone, reduce the chances of blemishes appearing (for most people) and reduce chances of premature ageing of the skin.

My skin is combination – I am oily in the t-zone but the rest of my face is quite dry and dull. I repeat this routine once in the morning and once at night. If you have similar skin to me –  I assure you will love these products!

The first product that I love is their Aloe Calming Cream Cleanser for sensitive skin retailing at £7.50. Cleansing your skin is important as it removes any makeup that may be let over, oil residue and dead skin cells. I pour a generous amount of this cleanser onto a round cotton face pad and massage this into my skin to remove any impurities. Their website states that “this comforting rich cream cleanser moisturises and gently cleanses sensitive skin. Melt away impurities and reveal skin that feels clean, refreshed and calm” – I couldn’t have put it better myself.

The second product that I use in my routine is their Aloe Calming Toner for sensitive skin which retails at £7.50. I again pour a generous amount onto a round cotton face pad and rub it carefully into my skin, making sure to really get into those areas where I tend to get more dirt residue. This toner has no added fragrances, colours or alcohol in it meaning that it won’t dry you out or irritate your skin. The Body Shop website states that this product “gently tones, primes and refreshes the skin. Aloe effectively removes residual impurities, to refresh and clarify sensitive skin”.

I then move on to applying the Vitamin E Intense Moisture Serum (£14) which has Vitamin E and Wheatgerm oil in it which heal dry and cracked skin, reduce scarring and fight free radicals which helps to keep the collagen in the skin healthy. I apply a pea sized drop onto my fingers and lightly massage this into the skin. This serum gives “all day moisture and protection”. This leaves the skin ready and prepped for moisturising.

I then finally apply my moisturiser – Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream (£14). This product also contains Vitamin E, Wheatgerm oil and also hyaluronic acid which are healthy ingredients that are beneficial to the skin. This product isn’t greasy at all and really sinks into the skin. This “leaves skin feeling fresh, silky-soft and looking more radiant. This moisturiser keeps my face looking healthy and plump throughout the day and really does make my skin feel so soft.

Thanks for reading and I hope that some of you try these products, they truly are amazing! I hope to see you back soon.
